What is dermabrasion?
Dermabrasion is a procedure of removal of superficial layers of skin with medical or cosmetic purpose. During the procedure, a special grinding is done. Its aim is to make skin smoother, taking out an upper layer of cells by means of the rotating burr.

Removal of an upper layer results in the smoothness of small wrinkles and they become almost invisible. This procedure is widely used to fight against cuts and small scars. Most often dermabrasion is done in a face area, but it can be also done for a body, for example in a back area. Dermabrasion reminds peeling, the difference is that it is much deeper.
Local anesthesia or general anesthesia, depending on a zone and the patient’s wishes.
